Scholarship award procedures

At LBTU Malnava College, students enrolled in full-time vocational training and secondary vocational education programmes are eligible to receive a minimum, increased, or one-time scholarship.

The minimum scholarship is 15 EUR per month. It is awarded upon starting studies (during the first semester of the first year), as well as to students with good academic performance, provided they had no more than one unsatisfactory grade or “no grade” during the previous scholarship period.

The increased scholarship (up to 150 EUR per month) is awarded if the student has achieved sufficient academic results in the previous period (has passed all courses). The amount depends on the grade point average and may be increased based on the student’s involvement in college social life, competitions, academic contests, sports competitions, and other activities.

A one-time scholarship (up to 150 EUR) may be awarded upon application if additional expenses need to be covered, for example, due to social circumstances.

The scholarship amount is reviewed monthly and may change if the student has been absent from classes without justification or has violated internal regulations. If absences exceed 8 hours or there are multiple disciplinary penalties, the scholarship may be reduced or withheld for the following month.

Scholarships are paid once a month by transfer to the student’s bank account.
