• 1990–1992 – the name Malnava Agricultural Technical School was reinstated,
• 1992–2003 – State Malnava Agricultural Technical School,
• 2003 – Malnava College was founded, launching the higher education programmes “Motor Transport” and “Agricultural Entrepreneurship,”
• January 1, 2022 – Malnava College becomes a structural unit of the Latvia University of Agriculture (LLU), ensuring continuity in education in agriculture and related sectors,
• September 1, 2022 – LLU is renamed Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU), and the college also receives a new name – LBTU Malnava College.
