Internships in Secondary Vocational Education

At LBTU Malnava College, the digital solution platform  eDY365 Nākotnes prakse is used to organize qualification internships as part of secondary vocational education. This platform ensures a transparent, efficient, and unified process for planning, conducting, and monitoring internships.

All students for whom a qualification internship is required according to the curriculum are registered on the platform. The start and end dates of the internships are determined by order at the beginning of each academic year, in accordance with the curricula of the respective educational programmes.

Qualification internship:

  • Car Mechanics:
    Car locksmith internship in the 2nd year, Car mechanic internship in the 4th year;
  • Commercial Workers:
    Commerce internship in the 3rd year, Commercial worker Internship in the 4th year;
  • Horticultural Technicians:
    Horticulture internship in the 3rd year, Horticultural technician internship in the 4th year;

Information about internship sites is entered into the eDY365 platform; login credentials are sent to the company’s internship supervisor. During the internship, both the intern and the internship supervisor make entries in the platform’s electronic diary: the student records the tasks completed and the experience gained, while the internship supervisor evaluates the intern’s work using a 10-point grading system.
