LBTU Malnava college participates in the micro-qualification pilot development project.

The aim of the project is to provide flexible and modern learning opportunities for adults who wish to expand their knowledge, change their career path, or enhance their professional skills. More information about the project is available HERE.

We invite you to expand your knowledge and develop your skills in the field of Sustainable Agricultural Production. Sustainable agriculture is the foundation of modern farming. This programme provides knowledge of soil health, agroecology, precision agriculture, and the efficient use of natural resources.

During the programme, participants will learn crop rotation and fertilisation planning, the principles of integrated pest management, and sustainable farm development planning, combining theoretical knowledge with practical assignments.

The programme offers an opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and skills that will help participants develop competitive and sustainable farming enterprises.

You will learn to:

  • understand the principles of sustainable agriculture and their practical application;

  • plan soil management, crop rotation, fertilisation, and integrated pest management;

  • apply precision agriculture technologies to optimise resource use and promote environmentally friendly farming;

  • develop a sustainable development and resource optimisation plan for an agricultural enterprise.

About the Programme

  • Education level: Short-cycle professional higher education (EQF Level 5);

  • Admission requirements: General or vocational secondary education;

  • Qualification awarded: Micro-qualification Certificate upon successful completion of the study course (6 ECTS credits);
